Do I need my own tools?

For most general labour, no — the poster has what the job needs. Bring gloves and safety boots, and say in your offer if you have a dolly, straps or a truck, because those turn a two-person job into a one-person job and you can price accordingly.

Is there enough of this work to make a week?

Honestly, it depends on the season and on how wide an area you will travel. Labour is steady around month-end and through moving season, thinner mid-winter. Most people doing this here are stacking it with other categories rather than relying on it alone.

What if the job is heavier than the post said?

Message before you start rather than after. The agreed price covers the task as described, and a job that turns out to be twice the lifting is a conversation. Starting first and raising it later is the version that goes badly for everyone.
