Held by Taskly

Pay when you hire

When you accept an offer, your payment is held by Taskly — not paid to anyone — and released to your Tasker only once you confirm the task is done. A small Trust & support fee (the greater of 4.9% or $2.99, HST-inclusive) is added at checkout and shown in full before you pay.

20%

Taskers keep ~80%

Taskly earns a flat 20% from the Tasker’s side of every job. Taskers keep roughly 80% of the job price, plus 100% of any tip.

Released only when you confirm it’s done

About 80% of every offer lands in your Tasker’s hands.

No weekend surge, no subscription, no pay-to-bid, no per-hour meter. Taskly’s 20% comes off the Tasker’s side of the accepted offer, and the Trust & support fee is added at checkout — shown in full before you pay.

The only extras are yours to choose: an Urgent boost (+$5 at posting, charged only when you hire) and tips — which go to your Tasker, all of them.

Money questions, straight answers.

What does it cost to post a task?

Nothing. Posting, getting offers and comparing them is free. You pay only when you accept an offer.

What is the Trust & support fee?

The greater of 4.9% of the agreed price or $2.99, HST-inclusive, added when you hire — always itemized before you pay.

When am I charged, and when is my Tasker paid?

You’re charged when you accept an offer. Taskly holds that money for you, and it goes to your Tasker only when you tap “Task done”.

What if the task doesn’t go to plan?

Don’t tap “Task done” — the money stays held by Taskly. Disputes are decided by a real person, not a bot.

On the Tasker side of the ledger? What you keep and when it pays out is on the Tasker page.
