How do I contact Taskly support?
Message us on WhatsApp at +1 437-970-7070 or email [email protected] — posters and Taskers alike. The in-app assistant (bottom-right on every page) answers most questions instantly.
How do I post a task?
Go to Post a task, then describe what you need by typing, speaking, or snapping a photo. AI helps classify and price it, handpicked local Taskers send fixed-price offers, and you pick one. It’s free to post and compare.
How do payments work?
When you accept an offer, your payment is held safely in escrow. It’s only released to the Tasker when you confirm the job is done (or after an auto-release window). You agree the price up front, plus a small service fee shown before you pay.
What if something goes wrong with a task?
Open a dispute and the funds stay frozen in escrow until it’s resolved. Both sides submit what happened and a real person at Taskly mediates to a fair outcome — full release, partial release, or refund. There are no dispute fees.
Is Taskly safe?
Every Tasker is reviewed and approved before they can make offers. Your money is held in escrow until the job’s done, phone calls are masked so your number stays private, a 4-digit door code confirms the right person showed up, and everything stays on Taskly so there’s recourse.
How do I cancel or reschedule?
You can manage a booking from your dashboard, or message us on WhatsApp and we’ll help. Because payment is held in escrow until the job’s done, cancelling before work starts doesn’t leave you out of pocket.
How do I become a Tasker and earn?
Apply on the Become a Tasker page. We verify your ID and review every application before you can make offers. You set your own schedule, keep about 80% of each job plus 100% of tips, and get paid after the work is done — the poster’s money is already held in escrow before you start.
What does Taskly cost?
It’s free to post a task and compare offers. When you accept an offer you pay the agreed price plus a small service fee (max 4.9% or $2.99), shown before you pay. Taskly’s marketplace commission is 20% (HST-inclusive) from the Tasker’s side, so Taskers keep about 80% plus 100% of tips.
